10 Things
Wendy over at Poundy has a list of ten things she's done that you probably haven't. I'm sure she lifted it from someplace, and so I'm lifting it from her. Here's my list of Ten Things I've Done That You Probably Haven't 10. Married and divorced a gay guy (with full knowledge of said gayness). 9. Lost 222 pounds, going from an all-time high of 368 pounds to an all-time low of 146 pounds. (Yes, I'm maintaining at a more sensible 158+/-2). 8. Gave up television completely about five years ago. 7. Showed my artwork in galleries in California and New Mexico. 6. Spent ten days on an island right on the Great Barrier Reef where I studied Acacia crassicarpa phylode morphology. 5. Attended the bi-annual John Milton Conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. 4. Turned down a job with a major drug company's R&D department because of ethical issues that had nothing to do with the obscene amounts of money they wanted to pay me. 3. Seduced a Milton scholar. Seduced a sushi chef. Seduced a cripple. Seduced a truck driver. 2. Was seduced by an Air Force flunky, by an Army flunky, by a restaurant manager, by an ex-stripper, by the friend of the Air Force flunky, by a former guitarist in a local band. 1. Graduated from high school at the advanced age of 16. And graduated from college a mere sixteen years later, at the advanced age of 32.
