Bowl (In Stereo)
Max traded a bowl for a stereo system. No, that's not a euphemism for anything, Max really did trade a bowl for a stereo system--not directly, mind you. Last week one of the really delightful women at the studio, Jeanna, brought her husband Jocko in while she was working. Max happened to be unloading a kiln, and Jocko admired one of the bowls and so Max gave it to him. This week, Jeanna came in and asked if we wanted a stereo system. She and Jocko had been given a really nice one (and it is really nice--dual cassette, CD player, equalizer, turntable, speakers, the whole nine yards) and after they set it up, Jocko said, "I hate it." So now it is sitting here in Max's office waiting for him to set it up. I hope that Max doesn't pull a Jocko on me as we have been living with a tiny, tinny boom box since day one and I could really use something that drowns out the neighbors. Other than that, it was a fairly uneventful day. We cleaned, went to the studio, got a stereo. Typical day.
