Zaphod turns 26
I'm still here at work, on the computer, waiting for my little protein to get all nice and concentrated in the centrifuge. Ying is here next to me, crunching some numbers. In the past several days, we have had two conversations that have gone something like this: Me: Ying, phone! Ying: Me: Ying, Yeeng, Ing, Yeng...phone! Ying: Wha--?! Oh, yes, thank you. A few days ago, I walked to where she was sitting with Dongmei and said, "Ying, phone!" and Ying gave me a very questioning look. Dongmei said, "Ying, phone," and Ying jumped up to answer the phone. What is it? So, today is Zaphod's birthday. He went home early (only an eight hour day!) to eat him some noodles to celebrate his being a year older. Happy Birthday, Zaphod!Ï
