My Day: Out of context, but worth noting Spent an hour+ in the lab today learned how to pour protein gels and AID showed me how she extracts DNA from snails (which is pretty cool if you think about it). Talked to Doc about nothing in particular. Flunked a quiz (which I can drop, thank god). Watched a documentary on Sylvia Plath in English. Discussed her beautiful poetry in relation to feminism. Hung out with Sophistica for a little while. Looked up a reference from 1930 about the care and feeding of amoebas and found it in the library, if you can believe it (and which is pretty cool if you think about it).
