coffee and a movie last night with mitch. we ran into a woman named sky, a depressed woman named sky, a blue sky, and a friend of mitch's who is beautifully named shiva. shiva came with us to the movie. appropriately. there is no chemistry between me and him. i found it distressingly easy to bypass his subtle invitations to accompany him home, but he shows up and the symbols return and for that i am and will ever be grateful to him. he's had a more interesting life than i could ever lay claim to.
